IPPB Tata AIG Group Accident Guard Policy @ ₹399 (General Insurance) by India Post
>>> A latest Group Accident Guard Insurance Policy has been launched by India Post Payments Bank in combination with TATA AIG for covering a large group of people against accident related hospitalization. It has been enabled from June 16, 2022 in all the micro ATMs of IPPB.
>>> This plan offers a coverage of 10 lakhs at a very small premium of Rs. 399 per Year.
>>> What’s Covered in Group Accident Insurance or Group Accident Guard?
1. Accidental Death: If you die because of an accident within 1 year of the date of accident, you get covered. The cover limit is up to 100% of the SI amount.
2. Accidental Paralysis or Mutilation: If your body part or parts get paralysed or you lose a body part as a result of mutilation due to an accident within 1 year of the date of accident, you will be covered for the same.
3. Children’s education: In case of your death due to an accident or your loss of ability to earn due to disability from an accident, you will receive the entire SI amount for one of your eligible children studying full time.
4. Permanent Disability: If you get permanently disabled due to an accident within 1 year of the date of accident, you will be covered for the same. The cover limit is up to 100% of the SI amount.
5. Accidental Hospital Expenses: You get covered for any accident related hospitalization expenses, provided you are hospitalized for more than a day.
6. Daily Hospi-Cash: You get a daily fixed cash amount in case you’re hospitalized for more than a day. There’s a limit to this amount & the number of days for which you’ll be paid the same.
7. Transportation Benefits: In case an immediate member of your family has to travel for a distance which is more than 150 km to meet the hospitalized insured person, the insurance company takes care of the expenses.
8. Partial Disability: If you get partially disabled due to an accident within 1 year of the date of accident, you will be covered for the same. The cover limit is determined as per the percentage stated in the policy document.
9. OPD Cover: In case the patient has to travel to a diagnostic centre or any other place for further treatment based on his medical practitioner’s advice, such expenses are covered.
10. Funeral Expenses: If the insurance company has accepted the policyholder’s claim under the feature of Accidental Death benefit, then the insurer will provide an additional fixed amount for the deceased person’s funeral expenses.
