Respected Sir/Madam,
As per the approval of competent authority, it is proposed to switch over the entire DoP operations from DC to the Disaster Recovery Centre(DRC) from 12.12.2022. This switch over activity will start from 03-00 AM on 11-12-2022 and is likely to be completed latest by 06-00 AM on 12-12-2022. Therefore, CSI/CBS/McCamish solutions will not be available for operations during this period. As and when individual systems/solutions are switched over and tested, the same will be made available for Business Operations, even before the above deadline. It is also proposed that post switch over, entire operations will run from the DRC Servers for a longer period of time.
As a pre-requisite, it is mandatory to replace the existing SAP Logon File with the new one in all the systems connecting to any SAP Solution (Such as IPVS/DPMS/HRMS/F&A etc). The process of replacement was already circulated vide CEPT email dated 02.08.2022, along with help document (Mail extract attached for ready reference). It is therefore, requested to cause suitable directions, to all the units under your jurisdiction, to check as to whether the new SAP Log ON file has already been replaced or not. If this activity is not done earlier, the same should be done immediately. As the new SAP Log ON file will allow connecting to both DC & DRC, the replacement can be done immediately without waiting for the above mentioned switch over time. Post switch over to DRC , the systems with new SAP Log ON file, can only connect to the SAP solutions and therefore, suitable directions may kindly be issued to all.
