Sub: Incident of an employee being assaulted by Lawyers - case of Prayagaraj Kachheri PO under U. P. Circle.

Sir,

It has been brought to the notice of this union that on 07.01.2023 one staff working at counter in Prayagraj Kachheri PO has been brutally manhandled by the Lawyers on very flimsy grounds. We have received video of the incidents which we are ready to share with you, if requires. Consequent upon that there was such an atmosphere all the staff being highly aggrieved stopped working promptly. However, when we have come to know the situation we immediately advised our employees through our union of Uttar Pradesh Circle to start working without least delay.

Our Circle Union of U. P. Circle has already issued a letter to the Chief PMG, Uttar Pradesh Circle claiming adequate security arrangement of the staff of Prayagraj Kachheri PO. What is to be mention here that this is not the first time, few months back almost same incident happened at Prayagraj Kachheri PO. So under the entire background you are earnestly requested to cause immediate instructions to the competent authority to ensure adequate security for the staff of the office concerned.
