OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: - Risk and Hardship Allowance payable to GDS-reg.
This office is in receipt of several references from different Circles wherein the list of locations identified for Risk and Hardship Allowance payable to GDS as per this office OM No. 17-31/2016-GDS dated 25.06.2018 has been sought for.
2. In this context, the matter has been examined and the Competent Authority has decided that the locations identified for Tough Location Allowance notified by the Department of Expenditure vide their OM dated 19.07.2017 may be adopted for the purpose of Risk and Hardship allowances payable to GDSS.
3. This disposes of the clarifications sought by Himachal Pradesh and North East Circles vide their letter No. EA/2-44/2018 III dated 07.11.2022 and letter No Est/Misc/05-06 dated 23.11.2022 respectively.
This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
