LGO exam is over and now, all GDS, Postman and MTS aspirants would be searching for Computer Training Institutes to learn typing and Data entry for clearing the Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) conducted by the Department for qualifying LGO examination.
All 2.5 lakh GDSs, Postman, MTSs who appear for the LGO exam had to spent lots of money and time for their DEST preparation through nearby computer centers.
But now, there is no need to spend their hard earned money and time, as part of Mission Karmayogi Project, the Department of Posts has developed an online course to help these aspirants in their career progression. The training requirement to develop a DEST course for our large number of staff/GDS has been felt by none other than the Director General of organization and as per his kind benevolent directions a welfare oriented DEST training program is now, made available of our in-house Dak Karmayogi Portal.. All GDS/employees can simply log on to www.dakkarmayogi.gov.in and complete the course at their own pace and time, free of cost. For the first time, our in-house development team has developed and deployed Simulation based typing and data entry practice modules integrated in our in-house portal. There are provisions for Mock Tests and Simulations for having a real exam like experience by trainees. The course is equipped with a digital library containing 7500 plus department al rulings, circulars, recruitment rules of LGO, step by step examination guide, explanation on instructions of the exam and much more in a bucket. Let's reach out to all stakeholders for the benefit of themselves and the benefit of the department, in turn, as skilled manpower is an asset of any organization. HoCs/HoRs are requested to make wide publicity of the DEST course through formal and informal channels for deriving maximum benefits.
