Sub:-Regarding setting up a control room in connection with withdrawal of the recognition of AIPEU Gr. C and NFPE.

In pursuance of Postal Directorate letter no SR-10/7/2022-SR-DOP dated 26.04.2023 received vide e-mail dated 26.04.2023 (enclosed) regarding withdrawal of the recognition of AIPEU Gr. C as well as. NFPE with immediate effect till further orders, I am directed to ask you to set up a control room and personally ensure that Postal Operations are not affected adversely. In case, it is felt that the situation is turning sensitive and dharna, etc is being resorted to, local administration/Police may be contacted. A control Room has been set up in the Circle Office to monitor functioning of post offices. The Telephone No. and e-mail id of the control Room is as under:

All Divisional Heads are requested to set up the Control Room accordingly and furnish consolidated reports from 27.04.2023 in the format (copy enclosed) twice in a day i.e. first report at 10:00 AM and second report at 03:00 PM through email. In case, any untoward incident is noticed, the same may be dealt with strictly as per rules and may be informed immediately to this Office.
