Monetary benefits available to GDS officials promoted to different Department posts.
1.No Gratuity is paid...
2.A
GDS official, promoted to any of the departmental post by any means
(exam / seniority cum fitness) will be eligible for severance amount if
he has 10 years of GDS service ...
3.Calculation
i.e Rs.1500 per completed years of service till 31.03.2011 for those
who have opted SDBS and to those who have not opted SDBS, severance will
be given at the rate of Rs. 1500/- for every completed years of service
till 31.12.2015 and from 01.01.2016 , Rs. 4000 per completed year of
service till his date of promotion...
As per orders dt 05.08.2011, 01.07.2019 and 08.07.2021...
4.Irrespective
of the number of years of GDS service, GDSGIS will be paid, with
respect to the subscriptions recovered in the immediate April following
the date of appointment till the date of his promotion, as per the table
of benefits formulated by Director PLI, Kolkata in this regard...
5.Accumulations in SDBS PRAN if any , will be transferred to the newly generated NPS PRAN by making relevant application in SDBS - 1 form...
Applications w.r.t point 2 to be submitted through SDH concerned.
Applications w.r.t point 4 and 5 through concerned postmasters.
