Withdrawal Limits at Branch Offices

A Branch Office can allow withdrawals up to ₹20,000 without prior sanction from the account office, subject to certain conditions.

Key Conditions:

1. One withdrawal per day: Only one withdrawal is permitted from any account on a given day.

2. Exception for new account openings: The one-withdrawal limit does not apply when opening new accounts using SB withdrawals.

3. Multiple account openings: Depositors can open any number of accounts in a day by debiting from their SB account.

These conditions aim to balance convenience with regulatory requirements, ensuring smooth operations at Branch Offices.
